When a few friends visiting from California asked me about my favorite restaurants in Boston, Posto topped the list. Pizzas are made using the ingredients and preparation guidelines of the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana – resulting in the textures and flavors that are specific to a traditional Neapolitan pizza. Before knowing this, I tried a piece of their pizza Margherita and it took me by surprise. They nailed it – it was the first time I’ve had pizza here that instantly took me back to the time I was living in Italy. Another item I order every time I go is their Tomato and Goat Cheese Bruschetta: sweet, roasted tomatoes drizzled with aged balsamic melt with the layer of goat cheese on top of a thick, rustic bread with a perfect smoky flavor from the wood-fired oven.
