It’s been awhile, but I’ll just dive right back in with this great recommendation for a place to stay out in the Berkshires: The Briarcliff Motel. One peek at their website and it is no surprise that the owners, Richard and Clare, used to run their own marketing agency (or that a Creative Director picked this as the place to stay during our shoot at Tanglewood – thanks Bennett!). We checked in late after a day of shooting and I made my usual plans to wake up at sunrise the next morning and roam around with my camera. The more comfortable the room, the less likely this happens, and sure enough I woke up just in time for homemade blueberry scones and granola, then packed everything up for a second day of shooting. It’s on my list of places to revisit.
